Christmas came early for over 100 disadvantaged children at Tamuka Foundation in Kuwadzana Extension who today received various gifts.

The Christmas cheer mood is already in the air and a visit by one philanthropist, Dr Killer Zivhu to a children’s home in Kuwadzana left the young faces filled with hope and joy.

“It is everyone’s responsibility including the government to assist institutions that cater for vulnerable children in communities,” said Dr Zivhu, who also pledged to build a state of the art children’s home for the less privileged kids.

Zimbabwe has several homes that house disadvantaged children with many of them run on an individual effort and as Christmas descends, the call has been to remember these less privileged members of society.
