The Zimbabwe National Cricket team’s busy period is set to continue on the international front with the local cricket governing body ZC releasing a schedule of fixtures which will include two T-20 encounters, three ODI’s, a two day warm up game and a one-off test match.

Zimbabwe will first lock horns with New Zealand in two T-20 encounters set for Harare on the 15th and 17th of October.

Focus will then shift to the one-day scene where Zimbabwe and the Black Caps will lock horns on the 20th and the 22nd of October at Harare Sports club before moving to Queens for the 3rd ODI on the 25th of October.

The two teams are expected to then clash in a two-day warm up encounter on the 28th and 29th of October, as they prepare for a one-off test match that will be played at Queens Sports Club from the 1st to the 5th of November.

While Zimbabwe is expected to take New Zealands’ tour of the country as an opportunity to exhibit their ability to compete against established test playing countries, the Black Caps will be hoping to use their tour of Zimbabwe as part of preparations for two test encounters with Australia in December.
