23 year old tout,  Archie Kundainazvo who on Tuesday evening ran over and killed a policeman in Chinhoyi, appeared before Chinhoyi magistrate Letween Rwodzi and was convicted on his own plea of guilty.

He was charged with culpable homicide and driving without a valid licence.

Kundainzvo who had no legal representation pleaded guilty to both charge and was remanded in custody to the 24th of July for sentence.

According to the state outline, Kundainazvo  spotted  some  police officers as he tried to pick passengers at an undesignated pick-up point, panicked and sped off along Magamba Way in Chinhoyi, before turning at intersection while speeding and in the process ran over a police man who was riding a bicycle.

The policeman died on the spot.

Kundainazvo does not have a valid drivers’ licence, and he was picking passengers on behalf of the bonafide driver of the tragic commuter omnibus.
