Mushowani Stars forward Evans Katema yesterday (Wednesday) completed a two year move to Dynamos after signing a deal which will see him turning out for the Glamour Boys.

The move underlines DeMbare’s intentions of improving their prowess in front of goal.

Katema who had spent the greater part of his career playing first division football has had a huge impact in the 2019 premiership season with new boys Mushowani Stars.

His composure inside the box coupled with deadly set pieces propelled DeMbare into acquiring the Mushowani Stars forward in light of the attention he was receiving from other teams.

Reports suggest Caps United and Chicken Inn were interested in Katema but the Glamour Boys on Wednesday evening shrugged off other teams that were in the race to land the dreadlocked Mushowani Stars forward.

Save for Clive Augusto who tops the scorers’ charts with 13 goals, no other forward has been as proficient in front of goal as Katema.

Scoring regularly for Mushowani has seen the dreadlocked forward bagging 6 goals in 13 outings making him a leading forward in the country.

The coming in of Katema is expected to ease Tonderayi Ndiraya’s worries up front given the form the former Mushowani Stars striker has shown in front of goal.
