1312: ED denounced the August 1 violence perpetrated by MDC Alliance where they burnt properties and vehicles and which resulted in the death of 6 people. Says the police were overwhelmed by the disturbances as most of them were deployed to polling stations

1255: I have been given figures constituency by constituency of what the MP got and what the President got. He gives an example of Byo Central where the Zanu PF MP got 4176 while the president got 5514, in Byo East the MP got 3941 and the president got 5209. ED however asked what happened in Byo South where the MP Cde Cde Raj Modi got 5752 while the president got less votes, 3939.

Govt funds ZEC through parliament. As Zanu PF we didi not have a problem with the way ZEC conducted itself.

A congratulatory and appreciation meeting for President-elect Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa is underway at the Zanu PF Headquarters in Harare.

President-elect Cde Mnangagwa, Vice Presidents Retired General Dr Constantino Chiwenga and Cde Kembo Mohadi and Zanu PF National Chairman Oppah Muchinguri Kashiri are attending the meeting with the 2018 harmonised elections Senatorial, National Assembly and women’s quota candidates.
