The Joy Foundation Super Power Cup, a unique four team tournament featuring players from Zimbabwean giants Highlanders and Dynamos against their Botswana opponents  Tafic and Mochudi Centre Chiefs and to be staged at the Francistown Sports complex in neighbouring Botswana has been launched with fans set to select which players will take part.

Speaking on the sidelines of the official launch that was graced by the mayor of the City of Bulawayo Councillor Martin Moyo among other guests, Joy Foundation founder, Joy Setshedi revealed her desire for the event to enhance relations among the participating teams as they play a part in the development of talent in the region.

Representatives of teams taking part also weighed in pointing out that they were taking the tournament seriously as they desired to lift the coveted trophy.

The soccer fans have been given the opportunity to decide which players will participate for their respective clubs through an SMS voting system.

While there is no prize money for the tournament, each player is guaranteed a 5000 pula appearance fee.
