Children living with disabilities at John Slaven School in Bulawayo received an assortment of goods from Holiday Inn and TZU-Chi physiotherapy organisation.

John Slaven is a special school for learners with intellectual and physical challenges as well as those not disabled.

The CEO of Umliza, the company that sourced the donations, Ms Belinda Cele said as an organisation, they were motivated by the desire to assist the disabled children in order to create a better and more comfortable learning environment for them.

The Minister of State for Bulawayo Metropolitan Province, Cde Angeline Masuku thanked the two donors for the kind gesture and emphasised that the goods will help in the day to day running of the school

The donated goods include 2000 kg rice, 200 satchels, 40 duvets and 400 exercise books.
