Foreign Affairs and International Trade Minister Retired Lieutenant General Dr Sibusiso Moyo says now is the time to eradicate unilateralism and protectionism in place of multilateralism.
Speaking to CGTN on the sidelines of the FOCAC Summit in the Chinese capital Beijing, Foreign Affairs and International Trade Minister Retired Lieutenant General Dr Sibusiso Moyo said “united we stand, divided we fall” to emphasize how important it is to stay united.
“I am delighted that the President of the Republic of China Mr Xi Jinping has shown commitment to the declarations of the 2018 Beijing FOCAC Summit saying “united we stand, divided we fall” to emphasize how important it is to stay united,” he said.
One year on, the Chinese government has honoured its pledge to support and boost cooperation with Africa in many fields.
President Jinping emphasized the importance of boosting synergies with the China proposed Belt Road Initiative and the African Union Agenda 2063.
The move is a very big gallery to boost the sustainable and high quality cooperation between China and Africa with African ministers saying this is the time to implement the eight initiatives proposed by Mr Jinping during the FOCAC Summit in Beijing last year.
