Dynamos and Caps United resume their rivalry once again with a mouthwatering encounter looming at the ceremonial home of Zimbabwean football.

Matches between the two giants of domestic football have mostly been rich and full of drama and action and Sunday’s battle at Rufaro looks set to follow the same trend.

The Glamour Boys cannot afford another slip after Wednesday’s 1-all draw with Eagles if they are to keep hopes of landing the title alive.

The Green Machine is 5th on the log with 39 points from 24 matches, 16 points behind leaders Motor Action and are realistically fighting for a top 4 finish.

Caps United will be in the right frame of mind after trouncing Shooting Stars 3-nil on Thursday.

Action however starts on Saturday with 3 matches scheduled for the day.

Lengthens continue with their fight to avoid the dreaded chop when they take on Hwange at Rufaro Stadium.

Both teams registered identical 2-1 wins last weekend, hence they’ll be hoping for a repeat of the same fortunes.

The Happy People are still in the relegation equation.

Douglas Warriors who are in danger of facing the chop on their very first year in the premiership, lock horns with fellow relegation candidates Kiglon.

The last match on Saturday sees Black Mambas hosting high riding log leaders Motor Action at Morris Depot.

The Mighty Bulls will be eager to post yet another victory to consolidate their position at the top of the standings.

Mambas on the contrary will be fighting for survival as they are still not safe from the chop.

On Sunday, Highlanders host Monomotapa at Barbourfields Stadium hoping to add the 2008 champions to their growing list of casualties in recent matches.

Bosso have been on the roll and are yet to lose a match since Mkupali Masuku took over the reins from Egyptian Mohammad Fahti.

Maglas Stadium in Zvishavane will witness a battle of two teams that experienced mixed fortunes last weekend when Shabanie Mine engages FC Victoria.

The Asbestos Miners will be keen to bounce back to winning ways after last week’s 2-1 defeat to Lengthens , while the Masvingo based side will be eyeing a second consecutive win after the impressive 2-nil victory over Kiglon.

Relegation threatened Shooting Stars tackle Eagles at Gwanzura.
