The International Food and Culture Festival has begun today in the capital with more than 70 local and international exhibitors participating.

Different handmade and artisan products as well as traditional foods are being showcased at this year’s 3rd edition of the International Food and Cultural Festival.

Speaking to the ZBC News, exhibitors said they are excited to participate in this year’s edition which gave them an opportunity to market their products.

One of the organisers, Ms Tsitsi Valerie Machingauta said the response has been overwhelming and their major aim is to link the entrepreneurs especially women to markets as it proves to be one of their major challenge.

The 3 day event which is being hosted by the Women’s Showcase Market in partnership with the Ministry of Psychomotor and UN agencies is also carrying out a number of business workshops focusing on environmental stewardship, business development and strategic planning as well as fashion shows.
