Indian Vice President Muppavarapu Venkaihah Naidu is expected in the country tomorrow evening for a two day official visit which will see Zimbabwe and India concluding a number of memoranda of understanding in various sectors of the economy.

Foreign Affairs and International Trade Permanent Secretary Ambassador James Manzou said the coming visit by Mr Naidu is very significant for Zimbabwe-India Business Forum as well as dialoguing on bilateral issues between the two countries.

Vice President Naidu will be hosted by his Zimbabwean counterpart Cde Kembo Mohadi and will pay a courtesy call on the President, Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Zimbabwe and India have close bilateral ties and share common membership in different regional and international groupings that enhance south south cooperation.

They also share similar views in the United Nations and in the Non Aligned Movement to mention but a few.
