The Embassy of India in Zimbabwe will hold the International Day of Yoga festival in different provinces of the country next month.
The day will see participants engaging in different forms of body postures to create unity of the mind and the body for healthy living.
Speaking to the ZBC News, Indian Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Ransui Masakui said with the current trend of lifestyles, Yoga is relevant in the prevention of and management of stress induced and other lifestyle related disorders.
Ambassador Masakui said a number of activities have been lined up from the 10th to the 24th of June for the festival.
The draft resolution establishing the International Day of Yoga was proposed by India at the 69th session of the United Nations General Assembly and endorsed by 175 member states.
