Social commentator and author Amos Kateta has released his second novel this year titled 'Deranged' which explores issues of marriage, deceit and poetic justice among other societal issues.

In the book 'Deranged' Rutendo kills her ex-boyfriend in self defence but the court finds her guilty and sends her to prison as she lacked proper legal representation with her husband Steven taking the maid Maria as the new wife.

When Rutendo gets the news, she becomes deranged.

The story line ends when Steven and Rutendo finally reunite with a second wedding while Maria loses her job before killing her newly born baby.

Kateta says his interest in social commentary motivates him to write books that mirror the society.

He wrote his first book in may this year titled 'The Confessions' which brought to the fore issues that the author confronted in his own life with the second book likely to raise his profile as a talented novelist whose contribution to the book industry will be greatly appreciated by many.
