Just like in 1980 when the late Reggae King Bob Marley played before a packed Rufaro Stadium, thirty years later, his three children Ziggy, Cidela and Sharon Marley are expected to grace this year’s independence celebrations.  

   

In celebrating International Women’s day some schools in Harare have organized live dances, poetry, theatre and comedy shows to be held tomorrow at Mabelreign Girls High School.
 
The event will also feature Mbira sensation Hope Masike who will be the guest Artist.

Zimbabwe Germany society with its cultural partners in the Arts will be holding an arts symposium this Saturday on a number of cultural activities with special focus on Women in Arts as part of the International Women’s Day celebrations.

 

A Chitungwiza based youth organization will be hosting a musical concert this Saturday under the theme Youth Fighting against Cholera and poverty.

 

The concert which will be held at Rhema Light House Church in Chitungwiza will feature Baba namai Charamba, Spiwe Chimuti, St Stephens Methodist Church’s Vabvuwi, among others.
