Government says enhancing computerisation in schools is one of the foundations of building a middle income economy.

The remarks were made by the Minister of State for Provincial Affairs in Mashonaland Central Advocate Martin Dinha at the handover of 40 laptops to two schools Chaminuka Primary School and Guruve Primary Schools.

“We want ICT and computer literacy form ECD upwards so that the President’s vision is a reality,” said Advocate Dinha.

Guruve North legislator Retired Brigadier Walter Kanhanga hailed the donation as computers were scarce in local schools.

The school children committed to fully exploit the new technology.

Two other schools Siyarima and Chifombo were recently computerised in Guruve North while the Guruve Information Centre was launched.
