The Harare City Council says it has made great improvements in service delivery within its 100 days rapid results initiative.

The Harare City Council said it will continue to improve its standards in service delivery to make Harare a world class city.

In an interview with the ZBC News on the sidelines of City of Harare rapid results initiative end of term review workshop, acting town clerk Engineer Hosiah Chisango said that all the projects which includes roads rehabilitation, refuse collection, availability of clean water and sewerage reticulation have greatly improved since January to date.

“The chaos and disorder in our city is also a major challenge and the development of a framework for a mass transit system is important,” said Engineer Chisango.

The city fathers have been for the past years failing to adequately provide quality services to the people.
