The Minister of Public Service Labour and Social Welfare, Cde Sekai Nzenza says she is not on the run as claimed in some social media circles.
The claims came in the wake of the arrest of Minister Nzenza’s Environment, Tourism and Hospitality Industry counterpart, Cde Prisca Mupfumira, who has been charged with 7 counts of criminal abuse of office.
The charges emanate from the scandal unearthed by a forensic audit report on the National Social Security Authority (NSSA), which falls under the Ministry of Public Service Labour and Social Welfare and which was once headed by Minister Mupfumira and now by Minister Nzenza.
In an exclusive interview in Harare this mid-morning, Minister Nzenza cleared the air on her not being on the run and on the forensic report.
The Minister revealed that the NSSA forensic audit report will be out and ready to be tabled before parliament by the end of this week.
She also said the delays were necessitated by a number of queries that needed to be unpacked before it is made public.
