Information technology experts have called on organisations to have enough user training inorder to ensure adequate security of their computers.This came out at this yearâ€™s ICT Africa.
Being held under the theme, â€œICTâ€™s for sustainable and human centered developmentâ€, this yearâ€™s ICT Africa has attracted about 70 exhibitors with 3 coming from South Africa.
Computer Suppliers Association of Zimbabwe Chairperson and President of Computer Society of Zimbabwe, Artwell Mukusha said benefits of exhibiting include showcasing information and technology products and services and networking of ICT players while offering solutions to organisations.
Mukusha says the three-day exhibition began today and is open to customers of exhibitors and closed to members of the public.
On Thursday, Vice President Joice Mujuru will officially open the conference which will run parallel with the exhibition.
The exhibition will close on Friday with career guidance for school children and undergraduate students who want to enter the ICT sector.
ICT Africa is an annual event which showcases technology developments in the region.
