Zanu PF youths in Hwange Central have met to discuss the challenges they will table before the party’s President and First Secretary, Cde Robert Mugabe when he visits the province for the ‘Presidential Youth Interface.’

The youths meet at Lwendulu Hall in Hwange this Sunday afternoon.

Following the successful meeting between youths and the President at Rudhaka Stadium in Marondera, Mashonaland East Province on Friday, preparations have kicked off for a similar rally which will take place in Matabeleland North Province at a date to be announced.

The preparations focused on the challenges which the youths will present to the provincial executive and incorporate in the list that will be tabled before the President.

Among some of the challenges that the youths highlighted are failure by cabinet ministers to organise inter-active programmes that seek to empower young people in small towns and rural communities, unemployment, corruption, leadership divisions and failure to access stand.

Zanu PF Youth League Matabeleland North Provincial Secretary for Transport and Welfare, Cde Daniel Sithole, called on youths to attend various government programmes taking place around the province as they stand to get first hand information on new projects that can benefit them.

“Just last week there was a workshop in Lupane but the problem is you don’t come as long as no one has said the meeting is about stands or employment, you don’t come. So it is a challenge, we need to be there for the needs of the people everywhere,” said Cde Sithole.

The Zanu PF Youth League has organised a programme which will Cde Mugabe addressing youths in each of the country`s 10 provinces.
