The journey to become a successful artist is anchored on humility and determination.

Such was the message echoed at the Ubuntu Gospel Festival in Chitungwiza, where aspiring gospel artists had a chance to interact with music legends in the mold of Mechanic Manyeruke, Michael Mahendere, Charles and Olivia Charamba.

The established gospel musicians urged the aspiring artists to be humble and respect the profession.

In response, young artists appreciated the interaction which they say will help shape their careers.

While a number of musicians can now access recording studios, skill and determination are needed to perfect their work.
