zrp.jpgThe Zimbabwe Republic Police have set up a Command Centre to monitor drug and human trafficking ahead of the next month soccer show case in South Africa.


The command centre which is being chaired by the Deputy Commissioner General Innocent Matibhiri is expected to ensure drug and human trafficking is combated.


Police Spokesperson Chief Superintendent Oliver Mandipaka said cases of drug and human trafficking are of major concern in the region.


He said the police are prepared to deal with human trafficking saying there are reports that women are being taken to South Africa for purposes of prostitution.
