A Kadoma based land developer has hinted that poor costing of projects is short changing home seekers.

Craft Properties Managing Director, Mr Kudakwashe Taruberekera said most land developers fail to deliver and end up increasing the cost of land to make up for their budgetary shortcomings.

“Poor costing for projects by land developers usually punishes the home seeker through endless upward price adjustments. Such poor planning results in land developers failing to put up requisite onsite infrastructure on targeted settlements, hence the need to apply sound business ethics,” Mr Taruberekera said.

Several housing schemes around the country have been left without proper infrastructure after land developers failed to complete some given projects, citing funding challenges.
