loliondo.jpgCynicism continues to surround the news that a Tanzanian priest has discovered a herbal medicine for the cure of the HIV and AIDS pandemic dubbed the ‘miracle cure’.

Over three months since Ambilikile Mwasapile made headlines across the globe for the concoction, people continue to flock  to the Loliondo village about 400 kilometers from the nearest town of Arusha in search of the medicine.

For over 30 years, the hunt for a cure for the killer disease AIDS has been on without yielding any fruits and billions of dollars have been spent in researches but a cure or vaccine has been elusive.

When a 76 year old priest who hails from a humble town of Loliondo in Tanzania claimed that he had found the cure for every sickness including aids, the news was expected to be dismissed with the contempt it deserves.

However, thousands of people are flocking to get a sip of the ‘mugariga’ concoction which the priest claims cures the deadly disease.
