A New York based artist, Juda Gavra is in the country for the Harare International Festival of Arts (HIFA) which kicks off tomorrow (Tuesday) in the capital.

The Iisraeli born singer, who is best known for his songs such as ‘Falling’ and ‘Stay,’ is billed to perform at the HIFA opening ceremony.

He will also showcase his music on Thursday in what is dubbed as the grand performance with Tinashe Makura.

Speaking at a media briefing in the capital today, Gavra said he is excited to be showcasing his talent in Zimbabwe and Africa.

NetOne CEO, Lazarus Muchenje said his company is committed to supporting all arts and culture events in the country.

HIFA will kick off this Tuesday with events featuring artists such as Prudence Katomeni-Mbofana, Masa Caroleen, American vocalist Sarah Elizabeth Charles, Hope Masike, Afrikera Dance Theatre, Zimspiration Choir and Makishi dancers, among others.
