Helen Sinclair, Regina Jonga and Masimba Nyamajiwa powered to first place finishes in competitive divisions at the International Federation of Body Building and Fitness Arnolds Classic which ended in South Africa on Sunday.

Helen Costa asserted her credentials as a top female bodybuilder after claiming pole position in the Arnold Classic Africa Women Body Fitness category.

Current Mr Zimbabwe Paul Goredema offered top competition in Johannesburg as he claimed a podium finish after coming third in the heavyweights division.

Regina Jonga was also impressive after winning in the women’s physique section.

Another gold came courtesy of Masimba Nyamajiwa who came first in the men’s fitness division with Michael Shonhiwa ending third in the junior men under 23 years category.

After several podium finishes, National Federation of Zimbabwe Body Building and Fitness is encouraged by the performances of those who competed in South Africa.

The Arnold Classic Africa hosted more than 50 sports and events with more than 12 000 participants taking part in the 3-day event held from the 5th to the 7th of May in Johannesburg, South Africa.
