The Harare Basketball Association has lifted a suspension on teams that had been barred from participating in the Harare Basketball League after failing to pay affiliation fees.
Despite having expelled 10 teams that had failed to pay affiliation fees to the association spokesperson, Carlos Munda, said lengthy negotiations have culminated in the HBA deciding to readmit teams which had been suspended.
Meanwhile all-roads will this weekend lead to Mutare, which will be hosting the annual interprovincial basketball tournament.
Teams from across the countryâ€™s provinces will be competing at the national competition which rolls into life this Saturday.
Harare province who are the interprovincial champions in the menâ€™s and ladies category, will be hoping to defend titles they won last year.Â Â Â Â
