The Zanu PF Harare Province Women’s League say it is now high time for party supporters to unite and rally behind candidates who won in the just ended primary elections.

The women said they are in a campaign move to unite all women to vote for President Emmerson Mnangagwa in upcoming general elections and to support all successful candidates in the just ended party primary elections.

In an interview with the ZBC News on the sidelines of a meeting to congratulate councillors who won in the party primary elections, the Zanu PF Harare Province Women’s League chairwoman, Cde Ratidzo Mukarati said party members should unite and support candidates who got the mandate to represent the party in the upcoming general elections.

“We want to strengthen our party through women who have a bigger number to keep the party in power forever,” she said.

Councillors who won in primaries said they are set to improve service delivery in their wards and promised to work hard for a resounding victory.

Zanu PF last week launched its election manifesto which has a strong focus on reviving the economy after years of economic decline.
