A bed ridden Harare woman, who is suffering from a rare disease that causes multiple fractures to bones, is requesting for assistance.

Esnath Bepura (56), who lives in Mainway Meadows area of Waterfalls has been bed ridden for more than a year due to a disease called multiple myeloma.

Esnath is seeking for assistance from well wishers as she cannot afford the money required by the doctors.

“I have been like this for more than a year now and $4000 is needed for me to return back to my normal condition,” she said.

A nurse aid, Elizabeth Madzikanda told the ZBC News that if no assistance is given to her in time, her health might further deteriorate.

Multiple myeloma, also known as plasma cell myeloma, is a cancer of plasma cells, a type of white blood cells normally responsible for producing antibodies.
