The Castle Lager PSL title race remains wide open.
Despite several forays upront FC Platinum could not break the deadlock with Mkhokeli Dube the closest to doing so when his header crashed off the upright in the 87th minute.
Harare City also had brilliant chances of claiming victory with some top drawer defending denying Malvern Gaki a goal in the 69th minute following a well worked build up by Martin Vengesayi down the right hand channel.
The Sunshine Boys’ again came close in the dying stages of the second half when Vengesayi broke loose 4 minutes before full time but failed to grab what would have been an all important winner for the hosts in a contest that ended in a goalless stalemate.
The draw saw FC Platinum go two points clear at the top of the standings but could be displaced from the summit if Ngezi or Dynamos register a win in what promises to be a thrilling encounter at the Baobab Stadium tomorrow.
For Harare City drawing against FC Platinum would have been a plus in their quest to survive relegation.
