kazungula boader post.jpgThe Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Regional Integration and International Cooperation, Mr Tedious Chifamba says government will soon roll out a plan to solve challenges at the Kazungula Boarder Post.

Mr Chifamba said this after touring the border post together with other private sector players.

He said the existing facilities and manpower is not enough to meet the increase in tourist clearance and cargo volumes.

Concerns have been raised about the need to refurbish and expand the Kazungula Boarder Post which links Zimbabwe, Botswana, SADC and COMESA member states.

Government is also planning to roll out a one-stop boarder post system to various parts of the country in order to ease congestion as well as unlocking financial inflows.
