A Pastor at the church, Johnson Jauro said the killings which also claimed his wife took place when gunmen burst into his Deeper Life Church in Gombe, capital of Gombe State.

 

Early yesterday, two suspected members of an Islamist group, Boko Haram were arrested after a man and his son were killed in Maiduguri, Borno State’s neighbor.

Nigeria has recently experienced a surge in ethnic and sectarian violence and the government has since declared a state of emergency in parts of the country.
