Medical doctors working in public institutions met President Emmerson Mnangagwa at State House today.
The meeting follows an earlier one the doctors held with the First Lady, Auxillia Mnangagwa where they presented a list of their expectations.
President Mnangagwa promised to honour what is on the list.
The doctors who were led by Dr Faith Muchemwa said the meeting was fruitful adding that they are happy that some of the goods, equipment and medicines listed are now on their way to hospitals.
The meeting did not discuss the medical professional’s remuneration as it was not on the agenda.
Minister of Health and Child Care, Dr Obadiah Moyo and his deputy Dr John Mangwiro also attended the meeting.
