The 2018 CEO Roundtable Conference which took place in Victoria Falls ended with the private sector and the government resolving to adopt a shared national vision in transforming the domestic economy.

Over 200 delegates graced the 5th CEO Africa Roundtable, which took place from the 14th to the 16th of March and was meant to create a platform for the chief executives to discuss current and future economic issues.

Delegates agreed on the urgent need to develop a shared national vision and collective efforts in order to reset the economy towards growth and macro-economic stability.

As part of the resolutions, the delegates highlighted the need for the government to walk the talk on zero tolerance to corruption, harnessing the country’s competitive advantage to promote sustainable development and implementation of innovative business ideas.

The meeting, which was held under the theme: ‘Zimbabwe Open for Business: Agenda 2040,’ also saw calls for government and the private to continuously engage each other in accelerating economic growth.
