A local organisation, One Gospel Music Entertainment Zimbabwe will next weekend hold a gospel concert dubbed: ‘One gospel,’ to promote upcoming musicians.

Founder of the organisation, Mr Irimayi Mhondera said the concert will afford aspiring musicians a platform to network with their seasoned counterparts, adding that there is need to support less privileged members of society.

Concert organiser, Godwin Mukara told the ZBC News that music plays a pivotal role in fostering unity and peace among communities as well as being a tool in preaching the gospel.

Several bands and artists are expected to perform during the concert and these include, Mechanic Manyerure, Mathius Mhere, Takesure Zama, Precious Zulu and Kuda Mutsvene.

Part of the proceeds from the musical show will be channeled towards charitable programmes.
