A local gospel artist, Minister Lindani has released her debut 6-track album titled ‘The Lord’s Prayer,’ at a colourful ceremony in Bulawayo.
The gifted artist, who is also part of Zimpraise, braved the sorrow of having lost her father, to churn out a polished performance during the launch of the album that has predominantly praise and worship songs.
Speaking during the event, the Minister of Home Affairs, Dr Obert Mpofu, who bought a CD for $1000, promised to support Minister Lindani and her band after ‘they proved they were artists of repute.’
Bubi Umguza Senator, Cde Sikhanyisiwe Mpofu weighed in paying tribute to Minister Lindani for setting an example to the girl child to pursue their dreams.
Having started her musical journey at the age of four, the gifted vocalist indicated that she was never in a rush to release an album as she wanted to make sure it was of good quality.
The debut album features songs like Sigiya NgoJesu, Cover Me, Pamuchinjikwa and Ngiyabonga.
