Zimbabwean players plying their trade abroad were in good goal scoring form at the weekend with Warriors players Khama Billiat, Tendai Ndoro, Knowledge Musona and Kudakwashe Mahachi all on target for their respective teams.

On Saturday, Musona was on target in KV Oostende’s 1-1 draw with Charleroi in Belgium.

Musona struck in the 53rd minute before Charleroi equalised in the 73rd minute.

In South Africa, Kudakwashe Mahachi and Knox Mutizwa were on target for Golden Arrows who overcame Highlands Park on Saturday.

Mutizwa opened the scoring in the 28th minute before Highlands Park equalised courtesy of Surprise Moriri.

Mahachi however ensured Arrows grabbed maximum points with an 89th minute winner.

Striker Ndoro was also on target for Orlando Pirates who lost to Free State Stars 3-2, leaving the Buccaneers struggling in 11th position with 23 points.

Ndoro scored from the spot.

Warriors star Billiat returned to action by scoring in a losing cause as Mamelodi Sundowns went down 2-1 to Kaizer Chiefs.

Billiat opened the scoring in the 26th minute.

Chiefs fought back with goals from Bernard Parker who received an assist from Edmore Chirambadare, before an own goal by Soumahoro Bangalay sealed the game as a contest.
