Students in Glen View have embarked on a massive fish farming project in line with the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education new curriculum.

The new curriculum is aimed at equipping school children with life long skills and Glen View 2 Primary School has gone on a massive aquaculture projects.

The school head Mr Lameck Madzimure said currently their ponds have more than 50 000 fish and they are in the process of educating the pupils how fish farming is done.

The School Development Committee chairperson Sunboy Nhakura commended the new curriculum as its thrust is good for school children and the education system.

Apart from equipping children with life long skills, fish are rich in proteins.
