The Head of State and Government and Commander-in-Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, President Robert Mugabe has implored couples to get to know each other and to be faithful in order to safeguard their marriages.
Relatives, friends and invited guests who attended Cynthia Nhari and Charles Kupakuwanaâ€™s wedding at a local sports club in Harare over the weekend got to share lighter moments with Cde Mugabe, who took time to impart some words of wisdom to the newly-wed couple.Â Â
The Advent Aambassadors Choir, which was made up of men of different ages, affiliated to the Seventh Day Adventist Church belted out melodies befitting the occasion and Cde Mugabe registered his appreciation.
Cynthia Nhari is daughter to Mr Stanley Nhari, who is farm manager at Gushungo farm and her groom, Charles Kupakuwana is the last born of the Kupakuwanas.
Pastor Paminus Machamire and Pastor Watson Mbiriri both from the Seventh Day Adventist presided over the wedding ceremony as the couple exchanged their marriage vows.
After a memorable church service, Cde Mugabe, relatives, friends and invited guests joined the newly wed couple at a reception held at the same venue.
