Libyan leader, Colonel Muammar Gaddafi has threatened to attack the west in revenge for his country’s bombings by NATO forces.
The threats were announced on Friday through loudspeakers during one of the biggest demonstrations in the Libyan capital, Tripoli.
The message conveyed stated that Libya is capable of penetrating into Europe like locusts or bees to attack the aggressors in their own backyard.
Colonel Gaddafi advised his political enemies to apologise to the Libyan people and leave the country, stating that NATO air strikes have failed.
Reports from Libya say thousands of Gaddafi supporters gathered in the main square to show that the Libyan leader is still in control and boasts of serious support from his people.
The demonstrators stretched out a several-hundred-meter green Libyan flag that snaked above the crowd.
Meanwhile, the African Union has refused to recognise the warrant of arrest issued for Colonel Gaddafi by the International Criminal Court.
