The Footballers Union of Zimbabwe (FUZ) out of contract training camp began in the capital today with players that are club hunting converging at Motor Action Sports Club in the capital.

With the current domestic premiership season now at the halfway stage, FUZ is keen to assist players whose contracts have lapsed and are club hunting.

Out of contract players converged at Motor Action Sports club today afternoon with the likes of Osbourne Mukuradare, Munyaradzi Chiwara, George Mukanhairi and Admiral Matope among players keen to secure moves.

With several players having already benefitted from the programme, FUZ administrator Vaida Makotsa is pleased by the fruits of the initiative.

Apart from providing a platform for local clubs to scout for out of contract talent, the training camp will also serve as preparation for a regional tournament to be held in Botswana where players will have an opportunity of impressing clubs in Gaborone.
