Man born of a woman has few days on earth. like a flower he buds and blooms and soon he is blown away. Tears may follow and they will dry. we will look up to the skies, to teh mountains and everywhere bt we will not see Freedom Moyo again. till we meet again in another life, in another form we have nothing bt HOPE. HJope of what we know not. Rufu ndimadzongonyodze.

So sad indeed. Such is life. We all live once and as sure as the sun will rise again, we will depart from this world. What is uncertain is when and how. Rest in peace Freedom.

One of the days I wish I was home. so my brother Freedom Moyo has joined his best friend Masimba Karikoga in glory. Cant believe Thursday was your goodbye to me for good n I wondered why u you reffered to when u were a little girl.” Will always miss our small talk when tides are low on your side, how u would fix things for me. Most of all, looking out for me as a real big brother.

It’s sad MaFree. I will miss you, will miss your smile in the newsroom and your trademark greetings to me: “Man from Belingwe”

Wadzanai Mhombera

“Boss Moyo”, “MaFree”, why did you have to go like this? Just like his name, he was a free person, you could be free with him, he never took us as his surbodinates, but as colleagues. This week I was planning to ask him to allow me to add his name on my CV as one of my referees. I will miss those jokes man, I remember you used to call me “Mufundisi” or “Propagandist”. May your soul rest in peace.
