The Ministry of Health and Child Care says it is partnering with the Angel of Hope Foundation in providing free health care services on the family fun day to be held in Mabvuku on Saturday.
The free health care services are set to benefit residents of Mabvuku, Tafara and Caledonia.
Ministry of Health and Child Care Family Health Director Dr Bernard Madzima says the Angel of Hope Foundation will also offer free cervical and breast cancer screening to residents.
Dr Madzima says the event seeks to promote the well-being of citizens and to spread the word on the need to go for cervical and breast cancer screening.
Other health institutions are coming on board to complement the free health care services.
The event, a brain child of the First Lady Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa who is the ambassador of women and child care and the ambassador of environment, will begin with a clean-up campaign in the community before the commencement of the sporting activities.
