zncc-logo.pngZimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC) says local firms must capitalise on the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) to forge strategic alliances as of attracting fresh capital.

The call by the ZNCC follows the hosting of this year’s ZITF which continues to attract foreign exhibitors.

In an interview with ZBC News in Harare, ZNCC president Mr Davison Norupiri said with the milestones achieved by government regarding the ease of doing business, more international companies are willing to invest hence the need to capitalise on the event to forge strategic partnership.

This year’s trade fair has attracted at least 326 exhibitors with 21 international exhibitors from 14 countries.

Most of the international companies are covering the agriculture, automotive, clothing and textiles as well as energy sector.

The event is running under the theme, “Harnessing Linkages for Industrial Development”.
