Chinhoyi based former division one footballer Jonathan Kahonde is singing the blues after a career threatening injury robbed him of a source of income.

Kahonde of Gadzema in Chinhoyi played for a number of teams including Chrome Stars of Kwekwe, Manhenga Stars of Bindura, Sinoia Rangers of Chinhoyi and Banket United before his career came to a standstill after he picked a serious injury while playing social soccer.

He had a surgical procedure performed on him 2 and half years ago but the operation has gone nasty after his bone marrow reacted to sign nailings inserted in his leg.

The former defensive linkman’s leg has developed what is medically termed osseomylitis, the development of a hole in the bone which oozes out puss continuously.

Now his wish is to pursue soccer coaching and he has since acquired a level one coaching certificate.

Kahonde has since made a passionate appeal for $650 to enable him meet the cost of another corrective surgical operation at Karanda Hospital in Mt Darwin.

His is a tormented soul and a helping hand towards the cost of the operation will put his soul to rest.

Well wishers can reach him on 0783838919 or 0713015458.
