The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Dr Sibusiso Moyo, who is on a reengagement mission in the United Kingdom, this Tuesday participated in the Africa Investment Forum attended by over 300 investors operating across the continent.

Now in its 4th edition, the Africa Investment Forum has positioned itself as the continent’s business forum in London, connecting businesses across Africa and placing decision makers, leaders and senior officials to a discussion on the region’s most pertinent themes.

Topics at this year’s forum include Africa’s role in the global economy, inclusive financing in Africa, driving Africa’s industrialisation now or forever, and leveraging the power of ICT and entrepreneurship in Africa.

Speaking to the ZBC News over the phone from London, Minister Moyo said they are having a fruitful mission, taking the Zimbabwe is open for business mantra to the international community.

Minister Moyo and some government officials have been on reengagement missions in the United States where they met fund managers of Wall Street and other influential officials in that country.

They are now in London where they met with the Secretary for African Affairs Ms Harriet Baldwin, Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson and addressed the Zimbabwean diaspora community in London.

Yesterday, Minister Moyo gave an address on Zimbabwe’s reengagement and renewal of the country’s international economic relations at Chatham House.

From London, he proceeds to Brussels, Belgium and the European Union.
