The First Lady, Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa has vowed to close the developmental gender gap by encouraging women to effectively participate in various economic empowerment ventures.

Speaking at the just-ended Zimbabwe Christian Church (ZCC) Zuva Romweya gathering, the guest of honour, Amai Mnangagwa said the government recognises that women economic empowerment is not only a right, but a progressive initiative that accelerates development in multiple facets of society.

First Lady outlined various opportunities for entrepreneurs.

ZCC leader, Bishop Nehemiah Mutendi acknowledged the integral role that women play in economic development.

The ZCC Zuva Romweya day is an annual celebration held to commemorate the genesis of the church which was founded in 1913 by Prophet Samuel Mutendi.
