People of Chirumanzu-Zibagwe constituency say it will be difficult to find a replacement who measures up to the First Lady Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa who has given up the constituency to concentrate on her role as the Mother-of-the-nation.

The First Lady had introduced income generating projects that empowered the constituency.

Empowerment programmes introduced by the Amai Mnangagwa in Chirumanzu-Zibagwe constituency have created a bond that saw women wailing in pain as the President Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa broke the news that the First Lady was stepping down as their legislator.

The women revealed that their former legislator introduced profound projects that have transformed their livelihoods.

Some called on prospective candidates for the constituency to emulate the leadership demonstrated by the First Lady.

With many politicians accused of visiting their constituencies when they want votes from the electorate,  the development in Chirumanzu-Zibagwe is a testimony that Amai Mnangagwa is a selfless person who had the interests of the people at heart.

There is no better proof than the pain she also felt at giving up a constituency which was very dear to her.

Livestock production, tiling of rural homes and establishment of a women’s bank in the Midlands Province are some of the projects she successfully implemented beyond her constituency.
