The First Lady, Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa has sourced groceries for three children’s homes in Gweru.

During her recent visit to the Midlands Province, Amai Mnangagwa spent some time interacting with children from various institutions and was touched by the plight of boys who are currently resident at Blue Hills probation and remand centre in Senga, Gweru.

Now through her Angel of Hope Foundation, Amai Mnangagwa has managed to deliver an assortment of groceries to Blue Hills, Mudavanhu and Midlands Children’s homes.

Handing over the groceries to the beneficiaries, the Minister of State for Midlands Province, Senator Larry Mavhima said it is out of love that the First Lady had gone out of her way to look for things that many would view as basic.

Senator Mavhima also donated 600 chickens to the three homes.

Accepting the donations, a representative of the children’s homes, Mrs Susan Ncube thanked Amai Mnangagwa for her humbleness.
