The First Lady Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa has challenged the corporate world to partner children’s homes in ensuring every disadvantaged child has access to education.
This comes amid revelations that most disadvantaged children are struggling to access education due to lack of financial support.
The First Lady, who has completed her three day tour of Matabeleland provinces after visiting the Kip Keno Children’s Home in Gwanda, says it is the responsibility of every Zimbabwean to uphold the interests of the disadvantaged.
She encouraged parents to ensure their children access the early childhood development at a tender age.
Three children’s homes were the recipients of the Christmas goodies from the First Lady in Matabeleland provinces this festive season.
