fifa_0.jpgFIFA is investigating claims that over 300 matches on 3 continents were influenced by match-fixers.

Reports from London say FIFA suspects match officials were paid to help engineer results in international friendly matches and European club games, earning them millions of dollars on Asian betting markets.

Employees from at least 6 different national football associations are under suspicion of assisting the match fixing criminal network, alleged to operate from Singapore and Malaysia.

FIFA’s head of security, Chris Eaton said match fixing threatens the integrity of the global game.
